What is the title(s) of your books?

Can You Keep A Secret?

When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer, what is inspired you?

As a child I’ve always enjoyed writing poems and short stories.

Do you have a favorite scripture or quote?

1 Corinthians 10:13b God only gives you what you can bear.


How long does it take you to write a book?

It took me one month to write my first book of almost 400 pages, I believe it was so quick because it was God inspired.


What is your work schedule like when you're writing?

I would not have a set schedule but I would write every day. It was however I felt. One day could be 4 hours and another could be 1 hour. It was as the spirit led me.

Are you self-published?

Yes


Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?

From reading. I'm very passionate about human trafficking and child abuse prevention. I watch documentaries and read books on the aforementioned topic.


When did you write your first book?

July – August 2018 whilst in Trinidad.


What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books?

How expensive it is, how competitive it is to get a literary agent and published traditionally.


How many books have you written? Which is your favorite and why?

1 book, and 2 free ebooks. Can You Keep A Secret, it was really quick and easy to write and I loved the process.


Do you have any suggestions to help the inspired writers become a better writer? If so, please state.

Read other books from the same genre. Talk to other authors, email famous authors too. Accept constructive feedback and be willing to rewrite and rewrite until you get the finished product.


Do you hear from your readers much? If so, what kind of things do they express?

I've not heard from readers as my book is only 4 months old.

What is your target market, who is your ideal reader?

Everyone that comes into contact with the most vulnerable which is children. Therefore parents, caregivers, teachers, social workers etc.

When will we expect your next book to be published, inquiring minds want to know?

Next year: Atttoney Behind Bars about being falsely imprisoned following my anti trafficking advocacy work in St Vincent.
