Interview with Author Yvonne L. DAVIS Please tell us about yourself using no more than 200 characters?  I am a new Author from Orangeburg South Carolina. I was born and raised here in the South. I attend Perfecting Zion Institutional Church here in Orangeburg SC. The Pastor and Founder is Bishop Darren Clinton. I believe in the power of love and treating everyone with respect. God has delivered me from congested Heart failure, drugs, and alcohol as well. I am still living on earth because of God’s Grace & Mercy. I don’t take my life for granted anymore. I am a believer of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God spared my life to show the world that he can do all things but fail. He kept me alive to use me for his Glory. He is responsible for my new life in Christ and God is love. Remember, to let God lead you and guide your life.

 I am a tool used by God to help someone through the writings of my books.

 Un-Locking The Dreams and Mysteries of God (Volume 1 & Volume 2)

When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer, what is inspired you? I did not know that I was going to be a writer someday.

 When God closed the door on my past life, he wanted me to share my story with the world. I started writing almost 2         

 years ago during the world’s Pandemic. I was inspired by God to share what he brought me through during one of

the most difficult times in my life.

Do you have a favorite scripture or quote?  Yes, my favorites scripture in the Bible is Jeremiah 29: 11 KJV  

How long does it take you to write a book? 4 to 6 months!  

What is your work schedule like when you're writing? 

My work schedule is normal for me because I will make time to write.

Are you self-published? Yes, I am a self-publisher led by God.  

Where do you get your information or ideas for your books? The four books that the Lord Jesus Christ has allowed me to write are all (True) stories yet so far. God has inspired all four of my books and they are all non-fiction books.  

When did you write your first book? March of 2021.

What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books? The most surprising things that I have learned while creating my books is to be authentic. It takes time and patience to write a true story especially when God is leading you.  

 How many books have you written?

Which is your favorite and why? I have written four books because of the good Lord. My Favorite book is my baby. The Resurrecting Voices of My heart is my favorite because I had a death experience that God brought me through. If it were not for Jesus Christ, I would have been deceased over 2 years ago.  

Do you have any suggestions to help the inspired writers become a better writer? If so, please state. . Speak the truth from the heart to help someone in the world to be an over comer. Always seek God first and be yourself.

Do you hear from your readers much? If so, what kind of things do they express? . I hear from my readers through Face book mostly.

They encourage that my books really inspire them and they are so proud of me. My family and friends always support me as well.

What is your target market, who is your ideal reader? My target audience is people that want to overcome certain addictions. My ideal reader is anyone that wants to know and to learn of the wisdom and the power of God. I really want to see people win in the earth realm.

When will we expect your next book to be published, inquiring minds want to know? I just released Un-Locking the Dreams

& Mysteries of God (from the Heart) Volume 2 on July the 15th of 2022. I do not know when I will release my next book.
