My name is Madeline Marie Roberts, affectionately referred to as "MiMi," I was born and raised in the Steel City of Pittsburgh, PA; however, I now reside in Sunny, Florida.

I am a woman with many titles Christian, Wife, Mother of 5, and Grandmother of 17. I am a successful Customer Experience Manager, an Ordained Minister, a Life coach, and a new aspiring author.

Of all the hats that I wear, minister, wife, mother, and grandmother are the titles I hold near and dear.

My calling: My purpose is to speak life to women of all cultures, ages, and beliefs. Hence, I founded Women of Wisdom, a ministry of Development in Progress Inc., created on May 1, 2009, to empower and encourage women to live an abundant life in The Lord. With the daily messages and lessons of hope, the ministry has grown to a membership of over 1,000 women worldwide. I will continue until I can't.

Becoming A Woman of Wisdom – Its Just that Simple. Published 5.2021 Living as a Woman of Wisdom – Is it Just that Simple?

Creating Women of Wisdom – will be published in 2023

Justifying Jezebel will be published in April 2022

When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer, what is inspired you?

I didn't give much thought to being an author until the 7th year of writing daily messages for my ministry, Women of Wisdom. During the 7th year, I began to gather all of my messages, combine and sort them, and then it hit me to write a devotional. So, the work started; it took me three years to complete the book. The beauty of starting is that it continued beyond this book. I have written a fictional book titled Justifying Jezebel, which speaks to the church's inner circle and the justifying behavior of the character Elaine; the book will be published this month. I have almost completed the second book of the series, Women of Wisdom. Much more to come...

Do you have a favorite scripture or quote?

Proverbs 3:4-5 and Psalm 143:8 “Still, I Rise” Maya Angelou Are you self-published?

No, I have worked with two different publisher and had two different experiences my books going forward I am considering self-publishing.

Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?

My ideas come through prayer and life experiences.

2017 began writing and 2021 published first book

What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books?

The vast opportunity available for authors...

How many books have you written? Which is your favorite and why?

I have completed two and working on completing the third.

Not sure which one I like best. My books are series; the first series is devotional/inspirational. The second series is about the sins we can get caught up in—justifying our actions, deceitful behaviors, and Rebel attitude.

Do you have any suggestions to help the inspired writers become a better writer? If so, please state.

Just start. Take your time, check all resources, and choose wisely those you decide to work with; there are very affordable and free platforms; do the research! Work at your writing everyday.

Do you hear from your readers much? If so, what kind of things do they express?

Yes, I do hear from my readers through my ministry and from comments written and verbal. Few reviews below.

Very unique touch adding a "song of the day"! Love the scripture reference for the option of more reading! Lots of room for notes and jotting your thoughts as well!

What is your target market, who is your ideal reader?

My books are geared towards women of all cultures and ages. My ideal reader is a person who wants to grow and who has an open mind.
